Jewelry 3D Rendering Scene Setup for Cinema 4D with V-Ray

The scene is great for realistic jewelry 3D rendering using Cinema 4D with the V-Ray renderer plugin. The advantage of this setting is that it can be a fast rendering of jewelry using GPU CUDA or/and RTX technologies.
Lighting in the scene is organized using an HDRI environment map (included).
The settings of the scene are designed for photorealistic rendering jewelry with a light style background. The scene also includes settings for a transparent background material with a shadow on the alpha channel for easy compositing in post-processing.

Note! Sample render files (images) are not included in the download files.
Software (Cinema 4D and V-Ray) is not included in the KIT price and must be purchased separately from the owner/developer of the specified software.

What needs to do?

• unzip the received archive to your storage
• open the received scene file Cinema 4D
• import model and apply materials
• adjust lighting using the HDRI environment
• let’s render!

• Cinema 4D file (.c4d) with:
  — 4 color gold materials (black, rose, white, yellow)
  — 6 gemstone materials (white diamond, black opal, ruby, emerald, sapphire, citrine)
  — 2 background materials (transparent with shadows and solid)
• Jewelry ring 3D CAD model (STL/print-ready, OBJ, FBX)
• HDRI environment map (3000×1500 pxs /.hdr)
• Texture (.jpg)
• User’s guide

• MAXON CINEMA 4D software (R20 and above)
• V-Ray plugin for CINEMA 4D (version 5 and above. The scene with the earlier version of the plugin not tested)
